Our internet in China was sub-par to say the least, so I was never able to post about any of our trips we took while we were living in China. It all seemed so overwhelming when we got home, but I have decided that I am just going to take it one post, and one trip at a time.
Beijing was magical. Like stop you in your tracks, take your breath away magical. There is no greater feeling than walking on the Great Wall of China or stepping through the gates of the Forbidden City or strolling through the gardens of Summer Palace. They were places I had only dreamed of going to, and I was actually there, taking it all in with Garret by my side. Not everyone loves Beijing, and it definitely had more mishaps awaiting us than any other city that we visited, but the iconic charm that surrounds that city left us feeling like we were dreaming.
