Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, shoots, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Jianhu

Jianhu

Garret and I got invited to come visit the city of Jianhu. It was quite an eventful trip as we were there to take photos to promote tourism. So basically we were shown around the entire city and taken on different day-trips  along with a large group of photographers documenting our every move. We were able to attend their Chinese acrobatics show, visit a traditional calligraphy school, eat local meals and desserts, attend a bonfire dance party, watch a water show, attend a tradtiional dragon dancing show, visit the local wetlands, and watch a traditional Chinese opera. It was a lot to cram into a few short days but we were able to learn so much about the traditional Chinese culture and the modern day one as well. We loved the people we met and their amazing hospitality made it a weekend we would never forget!

They had American food and you bet we ate as much as we could each meal. (And no, that wasn't just from Garret and I. There were six people!)
