Christmas in Hawaii
For Christmas this year we decided to take a family trip to the Hawaiian island Kauai! My parents have been here several times (it's my mom's favorite island), and they wanted to bring the rest of us to visit. I have been to Oahu and Maui, so it was fun to get to go to another island! Kauai isn't necessarily known for its beaches, (although they are pretty amazing) but rather for its recreational activities such as hiking, and kayaking. We did plenty of both of those, going on some of the most amazing hikes I'll probably ever go on! My dad even forgot his hiking boots on one of them and managed to do the whole thing in Crocs! HAHA, it was so funny to watch. Kauai is known as the greenest island and the rainiest island and we got rain every single day, although it only added to how beautiful the island was! We were there over Christmas day, so we got to open stockings and presents on the beach! It was a Christmas we will never forget!
Mom made sure that our tradition of Secret Santa was kept alive even on an island!
