Weekend in San Francisco
I first visited San Francisco in 2012 with my dance team while we were traveling to workshops in northern California. My previous experience with the bay area consisted of the inside of dance studios and a quick trip to Alcatraz. It was windy and rainy so when we showed up to San Francisco last week and it was SUNNY, I was blown away. Our quick weekend trip wasn't just to give San Francisco a chance to redeem itself, but also for a family wedding. My brother-in-law got married in the Oakland temple on Friday, and the wedding couldn't have been more beautiful. We had the entire weekend after the wedding to explore the bay area and EXPLORE WE DID! We were able to visit the Golden Gate Bridge, eat chocolate at Ghirardelli Square, walk the wharf, drive the coast south of San Francisco, eat in China Town, eat at Mr. Holmes Bakehouse, visit the Painted Ladies, visit the Mission District, hike through the Muir Woods, and spend an afternoon in the SFMOMA. San Francisco you were a dream to visit, and I hope to see you again soon.

La La Lovely Boutique was sweet enough to send me two adorable shirts and a dress to take with me on this trip. The graphic tee on Kenna is the comfiest shirt I have ever worn and both the blouse and dress have beautiful embroidery on the front. I got so many compliments on each of them from my family and from strangers on the street!
